The Relationship-Driven Classroom

Dates:
June 8th,9th,10th,11th,12th (8:30-4:30)

Course Description: EDUC-580-

Teaching a relationship-driven classroom is grounded in the understanding that strong, positive teacher-student relationships are a foundational element of effective teaching and meaningful learning. When students feel seen, valued, respected, and emotionally safe, they are more likely to engage academically, demonstrate positive behavior, and persist through challenges. A relationship-driven approach shifts the focus from compliance-based instruction to connection-based learning, which supports both academic and social-emotional growth.

High Impactful Instructional Strategies That Work
Dates: June15th,16th,17th,18th,19th (8:30-4:30)
Course Description: EDUC-580-

Student achievement is most powerfully influenced by the quality of classroom instruction. Decades of synthesis research, including the work of John Hattie in Visible Learning and Visible Learning: The Sequel, demonstrate that specific instructional practices consistently produce significant gains in student learning across grade levels and subject areas. Strategies such as teacher clarity, formative evaluation, feedback, direct instruction, and metacognitive approaches yield effect sizes well above the average yearly growth benchmark.

Reaching Resilient Learners
Dates: June 22nd,23rd,24th,25th,26th (8:30-4:30)
Course Description: EDUC-580-

This experiential workshop is designed to equip educators with research-based strategies to address disengagement, increase motivation, and foster meaningful participation. Over six days, participants will explore the underlying causes of reluctance, strengthen teacher-student relationships, learn how to apply motivation frameworks, implement culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices, and develop actionable instructional strategies. Participants will leave with tools, lesson designs, and practical approaches that can be immediately implemented in classrooms to engage all learners, particularly those who have historically resisted participation.
Ultimately, this workshop addresses a critical gap in professional development: moving beyond generic engagement strategies to targeted, evidence-based practices that help teachers reach every student, improve academic outcomes, and cultivate a classroom culture where all learners feel valued, capable, and motivated.
